1. Backgrounds

• Naphtha Cracking Center (NCC)

  NCC is a naphtha decomposition facility that decomposes naphtha to produce ethylene, propylene, etc

• Heavy Straight Run Naphtha (HSR)

  The crude oil distilled at 110 ~ 220 C.

  After reforming, HSR is injected as a raw material for gasoline production or aromatic processes such as benzene, toluene, and paraxylene.

• Soave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK)

  the most commonly used formula for hydrocarbon-based phase equilibrium estimation.

  By introducing acentric factor, more accurate gaseous physical properties can be obtained than RK and Van der Waals EOS
